Stella Orechia has finished her biking challenge! In just twenty days, she cycled 1,000 miles in Burma and Mae Sot to raise awareness about Burmese refugees and Mae Tao Clinic.
She has been with us in Mae Sot for a couple of weeks, helping to organise a World AIDS Day event at the clinic on 1st December and assisting the community outreach team in between long bike rides. Dr Cynthia returned from Australia late last week, so Stella was able to tell her all about her adventure and pose for a final picture marking the end of the ride.
We’re very proud of her accomplishment and appreciate her extraordinary efforts to raise awareness and funds for Mae Tao Clinic. To honour Stella’s achievement and support Mae Tao Clinic, you can make a donation online here. Please write ‘Riding for Refugees’ in the memo box.
