MTC’s Primary Healthcare Services provide a comprehensive range of medical care, including reproductive health, child health, surgery and trauma, physiotherapy, HIV care, non-communicable disease screening and treatment, mental health services, as well as eye and dental care. In 2024, MTC provided 126,631 medical consultations to over 50,000 clients, admitted 8,734 patients, and facilitated 1,558 safe deliveries. The clinic is expanding its healthcare services in response to the increasing humanitarian needs, including the establishment of an Emergency Care Unit (ECU), set to fully operate in 2026.

As part of response efforts to the escalating crisis, MTC has developed a Mental Health Counseling and Treatment Center to address the growing mental health needs of the displaced populations. It has also established a Prosthetic Production Unit and enhanced Physiotherapy Services for individuals impacted by conflict and accidents. Furthermore, MTC now offers direct access to Antiretroviral Therapy (ART), which was previously limited to referrals under Thai or Myanmar national programs. To support public health, MTC is also improving its Disease Surveillance System to enhance early detection and management of infectious diseases.

Health Services Trends

In 2024, MTC delivered 126,847 consultations to 50,699 clients, up from 109,746 consultations for 43,655 clients in 2023, reflecting a 16% increase in consultations and 16% growth in clients. Women accounted for 62% of consultations, children under five 9%, and 82% of clients resided in Thailand. Admissions rose to 8,735, with an average of 81% bed occupancy rate and an average stay of 5.1 days, which was 80% and 5.8 days respectively in 2023, reflecting higher demand and longer follow-up needs.
