Mae Tao Clinic continues to strengthen its organizational systems to improve service quality, workplace safety, and staff capacity while adapting to rapidly changing humanitarian needs along the Thai–Myanmar border. A core focus has been enhancing leadership structures and improving monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to ensure effective decision-making and accountability across programs. The ongoing review of organizational structure supports clearer lines of responsibility, improved coordination across departments, and better resource management.

Building staff capacity remains central to organizational development. Continuous training opportunities have been provided for clinical and non-clinical teams in key areas including infection prevention and control, occupational health and safety, humanitarian principles, and child safeguarding. This ensures that staff and partners are better equipped to deliver safe and high-quality services in complex environments. Capacity-building also supports sustainability, particularly as staff turnover and high mobility in the border context remain significant challenges.
